Tantabiddi Sanctuary Zone Kayak Trail is one of four trails in the Ningaloo Marine Park with designated buoys for kayaks to tie off on while snorkelling the reef. Each buoy is located near a particular feature of the reef system.  A 1.4km paddle (about 30 minutes) west north-west from the boat ramp to the sanctuary zone will take you to two kayak moorings within the Tantabiddi Sanctuary Zone. Snorkel the sites and return to the boat ramp.

Each buoy is located near a particular feature of the reef system.  This is the only kayak trail site on the Exmouth Gulf side of the cape. Plan your trip around the high tide.  On this trail in the later part of the Ningaloo season (August - September), paddlers may encounter humpback whales and manta rays in the Exmouth Gulf.

All of the sites are located in the Maud Sanctuary Zone.
