About this park
Sandford Rocks Nature Reserve has lots of native plants. Discover wattles, York gums, myrtles, and native peaches. There are even small carnivorous plants, but visitors won't be on the menu!
Come in springtime for great displays of abundant wildflowers. The area's rich variety of plants provide important shelter and food for kangaroos, echidnas, frogs, birds and reptiles.
Australia's smallest bird, the olive-brown weebill calls the reserve home. Sit quietly in the bird hide provided and maybe you'll be lucky enough to spot one!

Ensure you have appropriate footwear for walking along trails. This area may be home to venomous snakes so please exercise caution when enjoying the reserve. Sun exposure is a significant risk, ensure you have adequate sun protection (e.g., a hat and sunscreen), as well as enough water (at least 2 litres per person).
