There are no vacancies for the dates I want to camp, what can I do?

Try changing your dates. In periods of very limited availability you may be able to make a series of shorter bookings subject to the maximum stay condition of 14 nights in any park if any night is during Western Australia public school holidays, 28 nights at other times. If you have consecutive bookings in the same campground you will not have to move sites.

We are unable to accept requests for a waiting list in case of cancellations.

Search for alternative Parks and Wildlife campgrounds at Park Stay WA. As online booking is not currently offered at other campgrounds on the south coast you will need to delete all dates from the search form and we cannot guarantee the availability of sites – be prepared with alternatives in case there is no suitable vacant site when you arrive.

Can I make a booking by phone?

We are unable to offer phone bookings. Book online at Park Stay WA.

Is there mobile coverage or WiFi at the national park?

Mobile service is available in parts of the park and on some networks only. Check your network provider's coverage map.

Limited WiFi is provided for making campsite bookings, and for park and emergency information only.

As camping is in extremely high demand, we recommend you book before travelling to the park.

How can I choose a particular campsite number or see the campsite number I have been allocated?

Specific campsites are not allocated prior to arrival.

When you arrive at the campground with your booking, register with the campground host before setting camp. Where possible, hosts will accommodate requests for specific, adjacent or nearby sites. If the campground host is not available when you arrive, you may set camp in any vacant campsite.

We are unable to guarantee particular campsites to any visitor or to accept email and telephone requests for particular sites.

Can I book more than one campsite?

Not for the same nights. A booking is for one site only, and bookings must be in the name of a person who will camp on that site. If you are organising an education group excursion or operate commercial tours you must apply for permission.

How do I change the vehicle registration or phone number for my booking?

Inform us by replying to your booking confirmation email (subject: 'Your booking PSxxxxxx at Lucky Bay is confirmed').

Will you cancel my booking if I do not arrive on the first date of my booking?

If you inform us of your delayed arrival by replying to your booking confirmation email or by phone to (08) 9083 2102, we may make the site available to others for the dates before your revised arrival, but we will not cancel your booking unless you do not attend for all nights. We will not cancel your booking before checking those e- and voice- mailboxes. If you leave a voicemail message, be sure to include the booking reference (PSxxxxxxx) shown on your confirmation.

What happens if I leave early?

If you inform us of your early departure, we will make the campsite available to others.

If you leave the site vacant for any night after arrival without informing us (either in person to campground hosts or park staff, by replying to your booking confirmation email or by phone to (08) 9083 2102), we may make the campsite available to others.

How do I transfer my booking to a friend or family member?

Bookings are not transferable.

How can I cancel my booking?

Instruct us to cancel your booking by replying to your booking confirmation email (subject: 'Your booking PSxxxxxx at Lucky Bay is confirmed'). If you have more than one booking take care to reply only to the booking or bookings you wish to cancel, as it may not be possible to reinstate bookings you have instructed us to cancel in error.

How do I get a refund?

As highlighted before a booking is completed, if we receive your email instructing us to cancel your booking 29 days or more before arrival, you are entitled to a 50% refund. This will be paid directly into the account used to make payment.

I don’t have access to a printer, how can I show proof of booking at the park?

Save a copy of the booking confirmation (attached to your booking confirmation email) to your mobile device.

Can you resend my booking confirmation email?

Will you consider exceptional circumstances beyond my control that affect my booking?

We will consider a request for a booking change or refund in exceptional circumstances beyond your control if that request is submitted by reply to your booking confirmation email and supported by documentary evidence of the exceptional circumstance (e.g. a letter from a medical practitioner). Any exceptional change or refund is at our absolute discretion.
