About this place
Hunters is a popular surf beach for visitors and locals. Take a picnic and enjoy the views of the Ningaloo Marine Park from the sheltered picnic tables, watch humpback whales as they migrate up and down the Ningaloo coast from May to October.
From November to March each year marine turtles can be seen coming ashore to lay their eggs. During these months please avoid using artificial light at night on the beach and follow the Turtle Watching Code of Conduct.

Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!

We recognise and acknowledge Baiyungu, Thalanyji and Yinigurdira people as the traditional owners of Jurabi and Bundegi Coastal Park and Ningaloo Marine Park. We are proud to be in joint management with the traditional owners to look after these special areas for future generations to enjoy.
