About this place
South Mandu is a popular snorkelling spot away from the crowds. Step off the white sandy beach and be amazed at the fish among the coral garden, keep an eye out for turtles resting.
This shallow place should only be attempted on a high tide. Please visit Milyering Discovery Centre for tide heights and times.
To access the beach, walk south along the track approximately 500m until it reaches the beach.
Please note, access to Sal Salis off the track and from the beach is for resort guests only.
Safety information
Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!

We recognise and acknowledge Baiyungu, Thalanyji and Yinigurdira people as the traditional owners of Cape Range National Park and adjoining Ningaloo Marine Park. We are proud to be in joint management with the traditional owners to look after these special areas for future generations to enjoy.
