Tabs GroupWelcome The trail goes through heathland, along beaches and over rocky headlands offering walkers spectacular views of the ocean and along the coast. The Hakea Trail is a 23km Class 4 walking trail that leads from Cave Point west to near Quoin Head. Access to the trail is also available from West Beach and Hamersley Inlet. The trail is named after the Royal Hakea plant that is prevalent in this area. Walkers need to be farily experienced, fit and be prepared for changing weather conditions. Please clean your shoes at boot cleaning stations along the way to help prevent the spead of dieback. As no drinking water is available please bring your own supplies.
