Butterflies, Birds and Bridges Loop Walk Trail: 3.7 kilometre loop suitable for people with disabilities or people with prams; start and finish at Kent St Weir. This pretty walk passes stands of low-growing samphire bush, ephemeral wetlands and a melaleuca stand teeming with bird life. The trail crosses the Greenfield Street Bridge and passes the wonderfully restored Leige Street wetland, as well as the Wharf Street wetlands and the Canning River Eco Education Centre before returning to the starting point. .
Woodloes Walk Trail: 2.4 kilometres one-way suitable for people with disabilities or people with prams; start at Kent Street Weir and finish at
Masons Landing. From historic Masons Landing an additional 10-minute stroll east along Marriamup Street will take you to Woodloes Homestead. Woodloes Homestead is a small museum which showcases the history of the Canning River. Picnic facilities and play equipment can also be found here. Before starting the walk, arrange to be picked up by someone at Masons Landing or Woodloes Homestead or leave plenty of time to get back to Kent Street Weir along the same route.
