This tight single track meanders through 6 km of jarrah forest adjacent to Pile road. Descending from Mt Lennard Trailhead the average 4 percent grade provides an intimate forest experience all the way to the Pile Road area and a moderate up hill climb when ridden in the opposite direction. The ride offers challenges for beginners to old pros with beamed turns and log rides for those who are up for the challenge.
Lennard Half Circuit:
This 6 km loop is a great ride for beginners. The rolling ups and downs are fun for riders of all levels. The Lennard Half Circuit starts at the Mt Lennard Trailhead and connects with the Lennard Full Circuit before returning to the Trailhead. Pack a snack and stop to admire the beautiful Collie River Valley and the extensive Jarrah forest.
Lennard Full Circuit:
The new renovated 9 km loop provides more of a challenge for the beginners and a good ride for the more advanced mountain biker. Dipping down further into the valley before connecting back up with the half circuit, the elevation gain and loss will make you work for those views.
Mill Brook Trail:
This long 11.5km trail provides a challenge for even the most advanced riders. Dropping steeply into the valley along an old 4WD track the trail then levels out along the scenic Collie River before climb back up the Mill Brook drainage. A good level of fitness and lots of water is advised for this awesome ride.
Wals trail takes the diehard single track rider through the heart of Wellington National Park on its 4km of trail. Starting at Lennard Road enjoy the flowing turns and technical trail features before you reconnect with the Lennard half circuit. This trail is a local’s favourite.
The Pallet Trail is a 3km off shoot at the southern end of Wals track. This track creates another fast single track adventure through the jarrah country before connecting you to the Mill Brook Trail.
