Kep Track

The multi-use Kep Track uses the rail formation between Mundaring in the Perth Hills, to Northam, east of Perth.  The trail can take anywhere from a one to two hour walk, a bush outing for you and your horse, or a cycle adventure of several days.

King Jarrah Walk Trail

Located south of Dwellingup in Western Australia’s beautiful Peel Region, this five-hour walk features a 300-600-year-old tree, the ‘King Jarrah’, who’s age is continually disputed. It is less mighty these days after a couple of major fires, but still worth the walk and visit.

Kingfisher Trail

Located in Walyunga National Park, this six kilometre easy trail follows the river upstream to Syd’s Rapids before heading up a steep gravel track.  This area was burnt a few years ago and now has a thick understory of regrowth with the burnt eucalypt trunks visible above.  It intersects with the Echidna and Kangaroo trails.

Kitty's Gorge

The moderately difficult Kitty’s Gorge walk trail is located in Serpentine NP. The trail is 7km each way or 14 km return and can be accessed from either end. There are some steep sections with loose stones, uneven and slippery ground.

Knox Gorge Lookout

This easy 15 minute return walk takes you to the truly spectacular Knox Gorge Lookout.  Sunset or sunrise is a great time to view this awesome landscape.

Kotka Gorge Trail

Kotka Gorge Trail is a 2.7km return hike which continues on from the edge of the shady Gum Grove Trail to the gorge entrance that provides views of the east. The rough unformed trail involves steep rises and scrambling over rocks.

Kurliiny Tjenangitj Trail

9.5 kilometres

This 9.5 km, Grade 3 trail climbs high above the river to a lookout, before looping around behind the hill. Choose between the 5.5 km return, climb to the lookout or complete the entire 9.5 km loop.

Kurrajong Campground Trail

This marked walk trail starts from the Kurrajong campground at the northern end of the park. This short 1.2km return trail gives you an idea of the different vegetation types in the Park.

Kangaroo Trail

The Kangaroo Trail is an easy four kilometre loop trail in Walyunga National Park which crosses creeks among granite boulders, wandoo and marri. There are some short rocky ascents and descents, with good views across to the opposite side of the river.

Karri Views

This path leads you to the edge of the valley.  It offers views across the bubbling Eastbrook below.  It offers views across the Gloucester National Park.

Jorgensen Park Walk Trail

Jorgensen Park is located on the southern border of Kalamunda National Park and contains toilet and picnic facilities, including barbeques. This 2.7km loop trail is easy to navigate and is located on the old unused Kalamunda Golf Course, offering lots of history, stunning valley views and hidden gems.

Island Pool Walk Trail

Nestled on the banks of the eastern side of the Murray River, Island Pool is a pretty spot to spend a day. The Island Pool walk trail starts from the top car park and is a one-hour loop through scenic jarrah forest and provides excellent views of the valley and the river below.

This two kilometre moderately difficult loop trail winds through a mix of coastal shrublands and stands of tall trees with stunning views to the mainland and other islands in the Recherche Archipelago.

Jabitj Trail

The Jabitj Trail, meaning running water in the Noongar language,  is a 12 kilometre return trail that follows the Collie River between Wellington Dam and Honeymoon Pool in Wellington National Park.  It offers delightful views of the rapids and pools along the way.
